Determining seniority and reduction-in-force is a complex undertaking. If your school system is compiling a seniority list this year or considering the purchase of the Califon Seniority Program, the Califon Seniority Seminar is an event you won't want to miss.
Annual seminars are held to provide guidance on basic issues of tenure and seniority, reductions-in-force, as well as the latest case law decisions and their implications. Califon's user friendly computer program will also be demonstrated.
Randall Kanter and Harriet Bernstein will be on hand at these seminars to give you the benefit of their expertise and decades of experience. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. for coffee and bagels. The seminar will begin at 9:15 am and is expected to end at approximately 4:00 pm. Randy and Harriet will remain after that time to answer any questions that you may have.
The seminar costs are as follows: Breakfast and Lunch are included in the cost of registration.

A comprehensive booklet outlining the statute and code governing tenure and seniority as well as an annual update of Case Law will be provided to each participant.
